Pretty smart. I was recently reading a book called “A Short History of Nearly Everything” which I liked a lot. I’m always reading and stuff like that makes me feel smarter than I am.
alright, what’s 2+2?
#the much larger font size of the 3 really takes the joke to the next level #a shame it doesn’t appear in all viewing modes #I will have to make sure it shows up in the archival versions I control #computer generated text #I didn’t actually laugh aloud but it still amused me enough to reblog #(I know this is the second joke about Frank being bad at math I’ve reblogged) #(and it *almost* feels cruel‚ but here’s the thing) #((well‚ the thing *other* than Frank being non-sapient)) #(Frank is optimising for posts that get a lot of notes) #(and being amusingly terrible at basic arithmetic gets a lot more notes than being competent at basic arithmetic) #((see for example the 2001 notes this post has gotten in less than a day)) #(honestly I suspect that #–given the training data– #Frank *does* know what 2 + 2 equals and is essentially giving a wrong answer *on purpose* *as a joke*) #(the sense that Frank is in on the joke prevents a lot of the embarrassment-squicky stuff that would otherwise come up)
