REMINDER: You need at least three different Covid vaccines in you if you want to reach the true ending and fight the Moon Presence.

actually some speedrunners have found you can reach it with just Moderna and Pfizer but you have to skip the Elon Musk fight. Basically if you force him into the corner and spam special attack you can actually clip through the wall and the game doesn’t know what the fuck to do so it just teleports you to the final room and assumes you still have the N95 mask.

This also means you skip the part where Bernie Sanders dies, which makes the Suez Canal level wayyyy easier but accidentally turns the ending cutscene hilarious because Cardi B’s clone talks about how she misses Bernie so much while he’s literally standing right next to her

imagine how much information will vanish forever when discord eventually gets bought out by a company that destroys it and everyone abandons ship. can we please go back to putting info and other help on forums please

At this point, I’m pretty much convinced that going the Wikipedia route and incorporating as a non-profit is the only viable route for any long term tech project.

Job ad! Come be my coworker!

I work at Vox’s Future Perfect, a grant-funded effective-altruism-inspired vertical focused on high impact writing on some of the world’s most important problems.

Some of the stories I’m proudest of over the last few years has covered the case for catastrophic AI risk, the rise of plant-based meat, progress towards malaria vaccines, and the case for better biosafety and pandemic preparedness (unfortunately, those pieces all look really good in retrospect).

Now, we’re expanding Future Perfect! We’ll be hiring three full-time fellows for a one-year fellowship. Starting salary depends on your experience but Vox’s minimum salary for any role is $56,000. You’ll write for Future Perfect on any of the above topics or other topics of global importance that you want to become an expert in and bring to our audience. You don’t need to have a journalism background; I think the most important qualification is a commitment to understanding and improving the world, with the EA lens that makes Future Perfect different from everything else in journalism.

If you’re potentially interested and want to know more about what working at Vox/at Future Perfect is like, feel free to reach out to me here or at kelsey.piper@vox.com. And please share this post: I think hiring the right people will make a huge difference to the potential value of the Future Perfect fellows program.

Yeah, I did later find a mental-health clinic using it [link]. Said clinic’s stance is that depression *is* much more common than it used to be, but that this is because of the stress of a rapidly changing society.

ok I haven’t done a representative survey or anything but at least some people claim utsu(byou) is normal. so at least the more outlandish versions of the claim are overblown

I noticed that too. “Replaced” seems a bit much, though calling it that would be understandable if (if) it’s true that they caused the *meaning* of utsubyō to be much broader than it was before.

Also, re: k-kaze.jp:

>>Day care specializing in reinstatement support for those who are on leave or on leave to treat depression or depression.

oh great, this is gonna be one of *those* translations [link]
