i didn’t start reading weirdly kinky fics till i was like 25, it didn’t help much ^_^
I was 17 myself. (Only lying by a few months!) I…don’t think it’s really had an effect on my sexuality? It’s made me more aware of the variety of other people’s sexualities, sure, but not given me any more kinks than I already had.
(Thinking about it, I suspect it’s because of my lack of any vanilla desires. Genitalia aren’t sexy, and therefore cannot make things sexy through associative learning. You’d have to start from something I’m actually into.)
