Places with signs that are frequently stolen (mile marker 69, Horneytown, etc) should just sell replicas at cost. They could even put them in vending machines. Obviously the thrill of theft is appealing to some people but that would probably decrease if you could just buy one right there and they were therefore easier to acquire. I support people Having them but I also feel for municipalities that have to keep replacing them. This is a win-win and probably costs less than security measures.
