are you: right-handed, left-handed, or ambidextrous
and: which finger do you use to hit the spacebar when you type? left thumb? right thumb? both at once? alternating? some other godforsaken finger?
among other possible reasons, when you’re taught touch-typing (in my case by the timon and pumbaa lion king typing game), your fingers sit naturally on the home row and your thumbs are perfectly positioned over the spacebar hope this helps
