As a fan of both the West Wing and Star Trek Voyager, I love that the West Wing staff are the dead crew of Voyager.  Taken from the episode “Imperfection!”  They did spell the names wrong though.  probably to avoid being sued by Warner Bros

Now which came first? Ah, S1 West Wing pre-dates S7 Voyager.

Naming minor characters after major ones is less awesome than the other way ‘round, but still.
