Do you love/hate/don’t feel strongly about this character?

Big fan of both of ‘em!

What’s your favorite trait of this character?

Carolina: Recently it’s been the unexpectedly warm sense of humor. Leadership stuff, before things really fell apart.

York: Utterly impractical and sometimes obnoxious idealism is very important to me.

What’s your favorite moment/event involving this character?

Carolina: Her reappearance in s12 was great. The chase scene in Spiral. When she kept putting herself between Tex and Connie in their final fight. “Hey, if York says he’s good, then he’s good.”

York: Love his interactions with Tex. The three-on-one fight. The integration with Delta. “Does saying sorry count as something? …guess not.”

If you could have one power/attribute/etc. of this character, what would it be?

Carolina: I mean, that level of martial arts would be friggin’ amazing.

York: I could probably stand to be a little more gregarious.

Have you ever pictured this character naked?

Well, uh.

When did you fall in love/hate with this character? I you don’t have any strong feelings toward them, why not?

Carolina: First friggin’ appearance—more specifically, the banter with 479er.

York: I think I missed Out of Mind the first time around. So probably his growing sense of resignation during the training fight with Tex.

Who’s your OTP for this character?

I find them really interesting together, of course! I also really really really ship Carolina with South, 479er, and Kimball. York/Tex is a major thing that keeps popping up in my head, and York/North seems neat, too.

Also, y’know. Carolina/happiness. York/being alive. The usual.

Pros of writing transcripts: Holy crap, look at all these details I never would’ve noticed otherwise! Whoa, I feel 1000% more confident with these character voices! Hey, there’s a fantastic idea for an fic/meta post/audio post! Boy, I sure do love typing things… that’s probably weird isn’t it. Haha. Yeah.

As of the end of 8×15, my current theory is that the Agent Texas we all know and love is Alpha’s inherited memories of the Director’s ex-girlfriend, given a mind of their own by the same process that created the other AIs. It explains why she can do the ghost thing, how she and Church can know each other from their past, why she was locked in a room labelled “Director’s Secret Project”, why the Director’s diary just referred to her as a “byproduct” *.

Tonight I intend to finish S8, and hopefully find out then how laughably wrong I am. Or, possibly, how utterly right I am. Stranger things have happened. (After watching “Day of the Moon”, my mom correctly theorised that the regenerating girl was both Amy’s daughter and child!River.)

*I watched that last bit after coming up with this theory, but it fits in pretty well. An AI convinced she’s human probably wouldn’t be able to do the kind of stuff that they were…producing the AIs for.
