Little is known of the mysterious void crow. Deep space asteroid miners occasionally report spotting these creatures flying in their plasma trails, but there have been few recordings. Legend says that a void crow in flight is a sign of new life to come, but if a void crow perches over a dwelling it is a sign of death or hardship to come. A void crow perched over a mine shaft is a particularly bad omen and miners have been known to refuse to work for days after a sighting.

This crow is available on Etsy

You can buy a crow pattern on Etsy or Craftsy.

I made a tutorial on how to do the eyes on Instructables

World’s Largest Cave Passage

There’s a jungle inside Vietnam’s mammoth cavern. A skyscraper could fit too. Hang Son Doong, or “mountain river cave,” is in a remote part of central Vietnam. Hidden in rugged Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park near the border with Laos, the cave is part of a network of 150 or so caves, many still not surveyed, in the Annamite Mountains. You can read the full story of the cave explorers expedition here.

The Edison : Steampunk Nigth Club in Los Angeles CA

This was my second home in LA T_T (ok so I only went for birthdays, whenever I took people downtown and on Thursdays when my kid was with her dad cause they had $.35 cocktails for happy hour XD)

Once I took a friend for Happy Hour and the fairy that serves the absinthe (she rolls around a cart with tiny bottles of absinthe cocktails) came out and saw me and said “I’ll be out in a few, ok?” and went back to load the cart. my friend was like, “Um… how often to you come here??”

i am legit jealous

Peacock Jewel Moth – Dysphania numana

The tropical genus Dysphania includes some of the largest and most colorful moths of all the Geometridae. Dysphania numana is one of the largest moths for the family, reaching a wingspan of up to 8 cms. Whilst being somewhat variable, they are generally dark blue with clear areas in the wings, and an irregular row of orange spots around the outer edge of each hind wing. The body is banded in dark blue and orange.

This species can be found in Australia and also in Indonesia.

It is indeed one of the most beautiful moths I’ve ever seen.
