Indeed. ^_^ I’ve been kind of mulling over trying this as a challenge for a while, but I wasn’t sure if all the venues dropped eggs, and then I ran across a thread on FR that mentioned the Arena doesn’t but the rest do. So. :D

Oh, it also looks like either Crystal Pools doesn’t drop eggs or it hasn’t been around long enough for anybody to confirm that it does. So I might skip that one. Unless new data comes up before I get there. ^_^ Which it very well might.

Well, would you look at that timing:

“Once the rare drop item release for Crystal Pools comes out, we’ll be updating the loot table to also include eggs and battle stones.”

In other words, Crystal Pools currently does not drop eggs.

#I’m going to throw in a complaint while giving them a list of the typoes I’ve noticed in the first two chapters #apparently a bunch of errors snuck in during the ebook conversion process and they didn’t think to have it re-proofread afterward #they haven’t managed to get it proofread *properly* (i.e. by someone getting paid to comb through it carefully) #but they *did* fix the typoes in Appendix A I pointed out to them #so I’m going to keep them updated on the others I stumble across for the good of the class #(I’m not going to call them homophobic or anything) #(I’m going to say that the phrasing was ambiguous about whether to account for the possibility of lesbians and it confused me) #(which is true) #oh look an original post #adventures in University Land

I know almost no Jews irl (family excepted). I know a lot of LW Tumblr people. LW Tumblr is disproportionately Jewish, but also selects strongly for other traits, so sometimes it’s easy to conflate them.

The other day, someone said Jews have boring sex lives, and I thought “But aren’t we all super kinky???”

My college has a Christian youth group.

And black people are more religious than average.

So they keep going up to me and asking if I want to join, because I fit the profile of wants-to-join.

I could say I’m an atheist.

But I say “Sorry, I’m Jewish” and they get so confused.

I am proud of my life choices.

First thought: “Why is being black and Jewish confusing? When I first learned you were black and Jewish, I just assumed you were from the Ethiopian Jews. I mean, I gather that isn’t actually true in your case, but in general Beta Israel is a Thing.”

Second thought, addressing the first: “You know, just because we’ve heard of Beta Israel doesn’t mean it’s remotely common knowledge.”

Fair point.

(And while I had heard of the Ethiopian Jews, I was not aware until looking at the Wiki article while composing this that very few of them actually still live in Ethiopia. They’ve mostly moved to Israel, apparently.)
