The original automated import used GMT timestamps, and I’ve been keeping to that. But it slows me down having to run every post through my brain’s timezone translation algorithm, and it’s probably not that important. I’m going to start using my native Eastern, so I can just directly copy the timestamp indicated in the tumblr-utils version.

I’m leaving this note in case a future self decides it’s worth standardising the timestamps, so she’ll know this was the point of changeover.

(For the record, I actually wrote this at 5:09 PM on February 11th: I just backdated it so it would be located between the last GMT post and the first EST post.)
