#one of the things i liked about this show was the way they were all #we can never touch! #but they didn’t go #oh we just can’t be together #they found so many creative ways around it #i don’t know it’s just kind of neat, like #who cares if this relationship doesn’t look like it’s supposed to (cosmic-llin)
You think so? I mean, maybe it would make more sense if I actually watched the show rather than relying on pop-culture osmosis, but that situation seemed pretty reckless to me. Like, if my best friend/boyfriend/suchlike (truthfully) told me, basically, “I’ve cast a resurrection spell on you, but the price is that if we ever touch again you’ll die, and I can’t re-revive you”, I would cut all face-to-face contact immediately and would likely move away (to reduce the odds of running into them). Love’s nice and all, and we can still do stuff long-distance, but if one misstep means my death I wouldn’t take any chances.
(Mind you, I’m the sort of self-centred coward that Gryffindor-supremacists accuse of doing the will of Satan.)
