Eye Ring is more than just a ring.

Designed a few years ago by Korean designer Jeong Yong,
it is the concept of a scanner reader for blind people. The idea was to
allow people to read non-Braille books and to avoid the costs of a
normal desktop scanner.

These lockets are anatomically correct. The locket is held shut by the trunk of the aorta, which acts as a snap. The chain attaches to the pendant through the superior vena cava and left pulmonary vein, causing the heart to hang slightly anterioinferiorly, just like our hearts!

someone get me this, it’s amazing

In an absolutely wonderful [/sarcasm] beginning to Asexual Awareness Week, I fumbled my ace ring in the bathroom this morning and it shattered against the tile.

I’m going to keep an eye out every store I go to. The next time I find a place selling non-hematine black rings that look decent and aren’t horribly expensive, I will buy one. The next time I find hematine rings that meet those standards, I will buy five. I really like the magnetism aspect, and like hell am I waiting until the annual Rock and Gem Fair in May to replace it like I did when I broke the last one. (Though, since that previous one was made of hematine beads and I still have all the beads, I might still be able to find a replacement string. Can’t do that now, though, because I don’t have the beads with me.)
